DCU Women in STEM

Through Accenture’s Women on Walls at DCU we hope that the portraits of five pioneering women in STEM will inspire future generations as well as the individual stories of a collection of leading female researchers and academics at DCU. Read about the endeavours of a group of outstanding females from across the university working in STEM and STEM adjacent fields, and who, through their work and research are impacting lives and societies.

The women profiled have navigated many challenges along their respective paths and have always retained a strong sense of passion for and purpose in the work that they do. Written by science writer Dr Claire O'Connell, each story showcases women from a variety of backgrounds and at various stages in their respective academic and research career.
